k·a·lei·do·scope

Derived from Ancient Greek kalós (beautiful), eîdos (shape), and skopéō (to examine), the word translates to “observer of beautiful forms.”

An instrument for viewing a splendor of shifting shapes, the word represents the beauty in variation and shifting perspectives — the value in seeing things from different points of view, taking the time to consider an idea or character in all its facets, and in the process learn something new.

That is the principle that guides my work. Whether I’m researching Nigerian heritage or working on a new article, I always aim to find a different angle, fill a gap in perspective, and create work that brings something new to the discourse surrounding a subject.
